​Hello!

​I'm Cate, a socially awkward, book-obsessed, contemporary romance author. When I'm not writing, I spend my days raising two elementary-age kids (with teenager-esque attitudes) and wrangling three cats (two with lower-than-average IQs). I'm married to my very own romance hero (a sarcastic, nerdy, man in uniform) and we live in a house perched on a hill in the Okanagan Valley (only partially chosen based on its proximity to all the wineries).

I love early mornings (I know. I know. I'm one of those people), drizzly days, and my favourite places on Earth are the Oregon Coast and Disneyland. 
I hate those floppy fabric tube men car dealerships always seem to have (they freak me right out) and loose, wrinkly sheets (gimme those hospital corners, baby!)
